JOB OVERVIEW

We are a new start up publisher in the travel / vacation rental sector, launching new digital products almost every week before our main launch on January 1st 2018. We are deliberately avoiding being funded by investors and as such are very short-handed, hence we are looking for ways to free up the founder’s time

We are looking to employ an honest, reliable, self-motivated, dedicated and productive virtual assistant who provides technical, creative, and administrative services. Apart from handling the general tasks of a virtual office PA, we are looking for someone that is adaptive and highly skilled in technology to increase the productivity of our team.
For example as we open our doors, customers are going to start communicating in heavier volumes, and we will need general assistance processing those messages (social and email) with standard-ish replies and sorting out the messages needed for further action.
We require stellar English skills from anyone who would join the ---------- is important for you to also have excellent communication skills, especially written, as not only is it needed in communicating with clients via email and people on our social media channels but it is also something you will need when having conversations with other members of the team.

Operating as a VA and social media assistant 40 hrs a week. Day shift Job with a good compensation.

Technical Requirements:

At least 3 Mbps DSL/ Wired Internet Connection
Up-to-date personal computer or laptop with an up to date, supported version Windows or Mac OS X (Mac would be an advantage)
Decent headset and working camera
Conducive home office (preferably with no background noise from vehicles, animals, children, etc.)
Active Skype and Email accounts

Personality Must Haves:

Responsiveness (keeps communication with his or her manager open and has a backup plan in case of internet connection loss or power outage)
Great attitude
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
Stringency in meeting deadlines
Capability to learn and adapt to new platforms immediately
Skill in producing presentable output with no mistakes
Punctuality
Problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn
Amenability to start immediately
Skill Set:

Proven experience in virtual assistance
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, and or Google suite (applications for word processing, presentation, and spreadsheets), Mac Keynote experience not needed but an advantage.
Familiar with website back-end maintenance (e.g. WordPress administration)
Familiar with Trello and Drip
Transcription (voice recording to word / pages document)
Research skills
Very familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
You will be required to post to these platforms on a daily basis with the objective of building a following and engagement on each platform
