Who Are We?
Nordic Quality is an extremely awesome, up-and-coming, online-based company selling physical products under several of our own brands. The main one of which is in the gym and fitness category.


Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a lead graphic designer, who is awesome like us, to join the team. He/she will be working full-time for 40 hours a week and must have expertise in at least half of the following (and the willingness to learn about and/or improve on the remaining half):
Photo Manipulation
Retouching and Clipping
Designing Packagings
Making 3D Designs
Making eBooks

He/She must also have the following:
Stable Internet connection (Having a backup is a plus!)
A reliable laptop (Having a backup is a plus!)
Headphones/earphones


He/She must also possess the following skills and competencies:
-Design Software Skills
Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator is a requirement. Knowledge and experience in Adobe InDesign is also a good plus (but not a requirement)

-Communication Skills
Great English skills are a must as we are a team of individuals from different parts of the globe. Also, being able to communicate well is a necessity in order to keep things smooth when working with a team.

-Time Management Skills
Our ideal lead graphic designer must be able to turn in designs in a timely manner.

-Technological Skills
He/She must also be good enough to work on systems outside of the design softwares that he/she would use. Being an online-based company, we do all of our communication and documentation online and it would be great if you are someone who can work such ---------- worries if you wouldn’t consider yourself an IT expert though! You aren’t expected to be on that level. You will be given resources to learn how to use the tools we use on our (paid) onboarding (which will be discussed later)

-Visual ideation/Creativity
As our lead graphic designer, this individual is expected to be extremely creative. He/She must be someone who can come up with designs without being hand-held throughout the entire process, someone who can whip something up even with little information on the concept.

-Attention to Detail
It’s the little things that can ruin an entire ---------- ’d be great to have someone whose eyes automatically zoom in on little details that can potentially ruin everything and get rid of them right away. Likewise, he/she should also be able to add the little details that can contribute to the final product’s perfection.


What would the tasks be?

-Transforming or altering photographs using various methods and techniques to achieve desired results (photo manipulation);

-Retouching photographs to highlight important details within an image or make up for the limitations of a specific kind of camera;

-Coming up with good ideas to improve existing product packaging and to create new ones;

-Making 3D mock-ups to be able to give a better idea on design ideas;

-Putting together eBooks;

-Creating graphics for the company website, blog, social media accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest;

-Coming up with original designs related to Nordic Lifting’s brand for T-shirts, to be uploaded on Amazon Merch.
