JOB OVERVIEW

Highlight: We are looking for an experienced social media manager who can work full-time (40h/week). He/she should be an expert on the three major social media sites - FB, Twt, and IG. He/she will be in-charge of researching trends and audience preferences, creating and publishing content to keep the pages updated, keeping followers engaged, driving inbound traffic to the pages, etc.

Nordic Quality is an extremely awesome, up-and-coming, online-based company selling physical products under several of our own brands. The main one of which is in the gym and fitness category.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an experienced social media manager, who is awesome like us, to join the team. He/she will be working full-time for 40 hours a week and must have the following:
-Passion for Internet marketing
-Experience as a social media manager
-Experience with content management and social media moderation
-Expertise with social media, mainly the major three - FB, Twt, and IG
-Knowledge with SEO and keyword research
-Familiarity with basic web design
-Familiarity with SMMS, such as Hootsuite
-Familiarity with Google Analytics
He/She must also have the following:
-Stable Internet connection (Having a backup is a plus!)
-A reliable laptop (Having a backup is a plus!)
-Headphones/earphones
A plus but not required:
-Google Analytics Certification

He/She must also possess the following skills and competencies:
-Visual Ideation/Creativity
-Ability to Motivate One’s Self
It is inevitable for someone to reach demotivation at some point in his/her career. That being said, it would be great if he/she also has the ability to put himself/herself back on track when experiencing it
-Attention to Detail
Ensuring the posts are free from grammatical and/or typographical mistakes, not missing a lot of comments and/or messages are just a few of the reasons why attention to detail is quite critical for this position.
-Strategic Thinking
This is needed in order for the social media manager to meet his/her goals. He/she would need the ability to come up with a good game plan.
-Communication Skills
We require stellar English skills from anyone who would join the team, and this one is not an ---------- is important for this individual to have excellent communication skills, especially written, as not only is it needed in communicating with people on our social media channels but it is also a something he/she can put to use when having conversations with other members of the team.
-Interpersonal Skills
These skills will ensure that our social media pages are in good hands, that everybody who lands on them will be pleased by their interaction with the individual representing our company on that side.
-Multitasking Skills
Since there are multiple social media sites that this individual will manage and because he/she will have a number of tasks that should probably be run simultaneously, mad multitasking skills would definitely come in handy.

What would the tasks be?
-Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals;
-Conducting research on current relative trends and audience preferences;
-Generating inbound traffic to the company’s social media accounts and building a following;
-Creating, editing, and publishing content that would spark follower engagement on a regular schedule;
-Responding to private and public messages on the company’s social media accounts;
-Doing content moderation by deleting spammy messages;
-Monitoring traffic on the social media sites;
-Overseeing social media accounts’ design and communicating with the lead graphic designer for any changes that have to be made;
-Staying up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
