JOB OVERVIEW

This role will be responsible for designing and creating marketing communications and materials, and setting up programs to support Shopreight in achieving its brand-building and sales goals. You will help create a consistent “look and feel” for all the sales and marketing aspects of our business. You also will work with market and customer databases to identify and target new prospects, all to empower our sales organization to pursue and grow new business.

Key Duties - In the role of Marketing & Social Media Specialist, you will:

Collaborate with company management to develop ideas and plans that increase brand awareness, customer engagement and sales growth;

Formulate and execute content management and social media strategies. Generate, edit, proofread, publish and share engaging content (white papers, blogs, social media ads, promotional flyers, announcements, email blasts, etc.) in various forms and media to ensure a strong digital presence, enhance the company brand, build meaningful connections and encourage customer action;

Enhance and optimize content and company pages within the company website and social media platforms to increase the visibility and effectiveness of the company’s marketing and social content. This includes capturing and analyzing appropriate web and social media data/metrics, gleaning insights and best practices, and then acting upon the information and learnings;

Manage, analyze and leverage other marketing-related data (internal and customer data, campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape and optimize future marketing strategies. This includes administrative coordination of the company’s CRM platform;

Support and provide expertise in various other marketing areas, such as promotions, advertising, press releases, marketing events, trade show / conference booths, field days, etc.; and

Provide other general support and perform other duties as needed.

Key Skills & Background

Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media marketing, content management, and/or other aspects of digital marketing in a business-to-consumer environment. This includes possessing good working knowledge of Google Analytics and Adwords.

Adequate knowledge of and experience with web design, web development and SEO.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, WordPress and/or other content management systems and software.

Graphics design skills desired, particularly experience in Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat Pro.

4-year degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations or related field is required.
Excellent writing, proofreading, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.

Strong project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.

Fluency in English speaking, reading and writing.

Other Details

This is a full-time position.

Normal work hours are targeted for Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. These hours may need to be adjusted slightly from time to time in order to accommodate customer and company needs.
