Purpose
To design market right graphics for the company as part of an international design team in cooperation with marketing and development
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop creative graphic solutions to concepts.
2. Must be able to create 100+ designs a week by creating new graphics or by using your own illustrations.
3. Execute and implement the seasonal Direction of the Category according to market trends as well as overall Design Direction and ensure consistency though graphics.
4. Self-manage own creative process and execute towards given design languages within the category
5. Execute graphic design work according to the visual language of the company as well as given Corporate Identity guidelines according to legal guidance.
6. Familiar with American Culture: You must follow the American Culture and know what’s considered funny in American Culture.
7. Ensure proper handover of graphic artworks to development. Main duty is to submit all relevant information needed for the development process such as original artworks, color indication, execution information, artwork sizes.
8. Design graphics, select materials and color for products within apparel range based on the direction from the line manager and in close cooperation with marketing.
9. Must have a portfolio with illustrations or hand drawn designs. You will be asked to draw a design and trace a drawing during the interview process.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Strong knowledge of graphic design with awareness of the competitive market
2. Strong presentation and communication skills
3. Apparel graphic knowledge / apparel product knowledge
4. High level of creativity
5. Knowledge and use of computer design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator)
6. Fluent in English (spoken and written)
