We are a fast-growing digital agency based in Melbourne, Australia. We are looking for someone who has skills and experience in designing and building WordPress websites for services-based and ecommerce business. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and responsive design).

The Candidate
1. Build prototypes and great-looking websites based on the client’s requirements
2. Ability to work fast
3. Have a very good attention to detail and use common sense at all times
4. Must be committed, enthusiastic, sincere, trustworthy
5. Have an excellent communication skill (can listen to requirements and able to give feedbacks)

Required Skills
1. Excellent understanding of WordPress platform
2. Good understanding of front-end and backend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP)
3. Experience building user interfaces for websites
4. Experience in building Ecommerce websites using WooCommerce
5. Understanding of SSL certificate implementation
6. Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
7. Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
8. Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
9. Experience in crafting and editing custom themes/plug-ins
10. Ability to use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
11. Understanding of Cpanel for hosting, email creations, and file managements
12. Basic understanding of website SEO structure

This is a project based role with a prospect of full time employment in the future.
