Video Editor - Socail Content Creation

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches our brand and is suitable for social media.

Ultimately, as a video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.

Salary:
This job is part-time 20 hours a week. Rate of pay $3.50 USD/hr 14,315.43PHP/month

Responsibilities:

Download original video from Social Platform (ie. Facebook/YouTube)
Upload original video version to Dropbox in appropriate folder
Trim footage segments and put together 60 second clips
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Make the content timeless (ie. Edit out times, dates, years, etc.)
Add final edits to appropriate Dropbox folder for future use
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a video editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Speak & Read English
