Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Web Designer who will create visual layouts, flows and prototypes for the development of new web projects. Our Web Designer is also responsible for the production of some graphic assets for use on websites.


We are looking for a team member to own this active, hands-on role: designing the core user experience and providing design support for marketing initiatives. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who lives to be creative, has a passion for and is eager to push the boundaries of design.

Key areas of responsibility:

>Creating the look and feel of static and dynamic web pages;

>Designing and implementing graphic solutions;
>Visualizing and communicating design briefs;
>Creating visual concepts that match the content and the image required by the design brief; ensuring that sites are easy to navigate.

Requirements:

>Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in digital media;
>Ability to create innovative and original design solutions for web and formulate recommendations to improve user experience;
>A good understanding of website structure and functionality;
>Strong analytical and conceptual skills and technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, JavaScripts, Flash or CSS;
>Ability to research best practices on user experience and new web technology;
>Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
>Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Illustrator;
>Must possess attributes such as a curious mind, keen eye for details, good work ethics and most importantly, a great sense of design;
>Knowledgeable in front end development;
>Knowledgeable in building and configuring WordPress websites is a plus;
>At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.


>Required skill(s): Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Dreamweaver.

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Ultimately you are designer, with a passion for all things design, with enough knowledge in development to liaise with the developer(s) in the company.

Preferably 2-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
