JOB OVERVIEW

Recruitment:

Main duties:

1. Market, advertise and promote and conduct orientation seminars
2. Assist the Company in promoting the services through social media, blogging, distribution of marketing material and flyers, brochures and the following:

• Conduct seminars in schools and institutions and other appropriate venues
• Advertising in general websites and education recruitment agencies
• Online classified websites
• Specialized websites which are dedicated to specific occupational profiles (for example, accounting, marketing, technology, education, engineering)
• Local, regional and national newspapers or newsletters
• Local, regional and provincial or territorial community resource centres
• Magazines and journals (for example, national journals or magazines, professional and educational associations magazines)
• Participation at education fairs
• Networking or partnering with educational and training institutions
• Networking with professional education recruitment agencies

3. Recruit qualified foreign nationals and individuals seeking to apply for temporary or permanent residency to Canada – including verifying the accuracy of their profiles and suitability prior to submission to the “Company” for assessments
4. Provide Canadian style resumes and completed questionnaires and assessments as per the “Company’s” standards
5. Arrange webcam interviews with potential candidates or clients or students
6. Assist, coordinate and liase with the “ Company” to submit all supporting documentation in the candidate’s country of origin
7. Process exit clearance and other related deployment documents for students as per the regulations of their respective country of origin
8. Assist, coordinate and liase with the “ Company” for travel and arrival dates of students and permanent immigration clients
9. Provide communication and status reports to the “Company” on a timely basis
10. Provide orientation seminars for successful students and/or clients prior to arrival in Canada
11. Visit schools, high schools, and colleges, and speak to groups and individual students, and meets with school counselors and administrators to promote services
12. Manages and coordinates community workshops, retreats, and recruitment efforts
13. Assist the Company to provide career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential students utilizing specific university, colleges, educational programs in Canada
14. Serve as territorial contact to develop and maintain partnerships between the university and local school systems throughout the assigned territories
15. Serve as the point person for oversight of territorial recruitment goals and promotional activities
16. Coordinates with staff and alumni of national and local colleges and universities to conduct and schedule recruitment fairs; and coordinates event-specific organizational aspects, promotional materials and information offered to the university and colleges
17. Organizes and implements all aspects of large, multi-departmental special events utilizing presentation and promotional materials, maintaining budgetary and operational controls, coordination skills with multiple entities and representing the Company at local, statewide and national events
18. Prepares reports and proposals, and responds to inquiries from students and/or clients
19. Develops operating goals and objectives for the student; implements and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations, as appropriate
20. Creates, packages, monitors and distributes resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs; develops mentorship programs; analyzes trends in recruitment and retention programs; develops strategies for program evaluation
Training:
Main Duties:
1. Trains and assists student recruiters in the process of advising students and families concerning admission requirements and student permit applications
2. Delivers group and individual instruction and training
3. Develops training curricula and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives
4. Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops
5. Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
6. Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs
7. Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods
8. May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation
Event and Sales:
Main Duties:
1. Impact sales results by developing, supporting and executing field marketing and segment activities
2. Executes Marketing campaigns and Plans Events depending on expertise
3. Works with appropriate clients to support campaigns
4. Works with various corporate/field marketing managers to determine appropriate customized programs and strategies for various market segments
5. Provides coordination and project management to ensure event success
6. Monitors use of existing sales tools
7. Provides input on requirements for additional tools
8. Publicizes event and works with Account Development to raise awareness and drive high levels of attendance and participation by targeted audience
9. Advises on new ideas to generate revenue for various clientele
10. Oversee development meetings, planning, and execution of all events
11. Manage all timelines, staff duties, and event budgets
12. Work with business owners, sales professionals, and vendors to ensure optimal completion of tasks
13. Implement marketing strategies to promote events via traditional and social media means
14. Follow up event with reports detailing successful product lines and sales strategies
Education and Computer and Communication Skills:

A university degree in business, human resources management or related field
Good Communication in English
Positive attitude at work
Strong user of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Strong user of Adobe and immigration softwares
Strong technical knowledge in computer, copier, electronic trouble shooting

Skills:
• Knowledge of best practices with respect to recruitment metrics and data
• Recruitment and selection techniques
