Creative Designer for Google Business Profile, Social Media and Canva (Brisbane Agency)

Hi, we are a small boutique web design agency in Brisbane, Australia. We look after the online content for local businesses, and we are looking for a designer with a really good eye to join us long term. The main job is content design, so you need to be strong in Canva and know how to make posts that look great!!!.

What you would be doing


Designing Google Business Profile posts. This is the main work right now.
Designing social media posts for Facebook and Instagram. This part is growing.
Making graphics in Canva for different local businesses
Keeping a clean, consistent look for each client so their brand looks professional


To be upfront with you, most of the work today is Google Business Profile content. We are taking on more social media work soon, so this role will grow over time. If you love content design and have a strong eye, you are the kind of person we want.

What we are looking for


A genuine eye for design. Your work should look clean, modern and professional, not templated.
Strong with Canva.
A good sense for what works for small local businesses, not just pretty pictures.
Reliable communication. You reply, you ask questions when something is not clear, and you meet your deadlines.
Good written English, since you will be working with our team day to day.


A nice bonus

If you also know web design, WordPress or Elementor, that is a big plus. It is not required, and the main job is still content design. But if you have those skills, there could be more work and more hours for you over time as you grow with us.

How it works

We like to start with a small paid fixed-price project so we can both see how we work together. From there we will keep working on fixed-price jobs while we get to know each other. Then, when the time feels right and the work is flowing well, we can move into a part-time role with regular weekly hours. We pay on time, every time, and we treat our team well. The people who do good work with us stay for a long time.
