I run an education channel on AI governance and tech career transitions. I record all the videos myself . I’m looking for one person to turn my raw footage into polished uploads and grow the channel around them. Part-time, long-term, with room to grow.
This is a part-time, long-term role for someone who lives and breathes YouTube Video Editing & Growth. I record every video. You turn the footage into content that performs.
What You’ll Do
• Edit my raw footage into finished, engaging videos, cuts, pacing, captions, light b-roll and graphics, and clean audio.
• Package for clicks: design thumbnails and write titles and descriptions optimized for search and click-through.
• Optimize and publish: metadata, chapters, end screens, playlists, and scheduling.
• Cut Shorts from long-form videos to feed the main channel.
• Track and grow: watch retention, CTR, and traffic sources, and adjust to grow views and subscribers.
What You Bring
• Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci, Final Cut, or CapCut) with a reel or portfolio.
• YouTube growth know-how: SEO, packaging, and Studio analytics.
• Thumbnail design ability (Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
• Strong written English for titles and descriptions.
• Organized, reliable, and data-driven — you test and iterate.
• Data-driven instincts; you test, read the numbers, and iterate.
• Strong written English for titles, descriptions, and metadata.
Logistics
• Part-time, long-term, with room to grow as the channel does.
• Overlap with US Central business hours.
• Begins with a paid trial project so we can both assess fit.
How to Apply
Send me:
1. A short intro and why this role fits you.
2. Your editing portfolio.
3. Thumbnails and titles you’ve made.
4. Your availability.
Shortlisted candidates complete a short paid trial task: I’ll send a raw clip, and you’ll edit a 60–90 second cut, create a thumbnail and title for it, and share two or three ideas to grow the channel. How you handle real work matters more to me than a polished résumé.
