JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity, and HIPAA compliance. This role will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT environments while ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Assess and optimize clients' IT infrastructure and security.
Implement and manage Microsoft 365 environments.
Ensure systems meet HIPAA compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain security policies and best practices.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity management.
Configure and maintain cloud services, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
Provide technical consulting and support for IT-related projects.
Identify and resolve infrastructure, networking, and security issues.
Recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and security.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as an IT Consultant, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
Demonstrated experience with HIPAA compliance in a healthcare environment.
Microsoft 365 Certified (Associate, Expert, or equivalent certification preferred).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
Experience with cybersecurity, firewalls, endpoint protection, and multi-factor authentication.
Knowledge of networking, Windows Server, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and consult with clients on IT strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Enterprise Administrator Expert, or related Microsoft certifications.
Experience with Azure, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance audits.
Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
