Shopify Developer | Part Time 10-25 hrs/week

INAVENI is searching for an experienced and passionate Shopify developer, a web engineer who specializes in the traditional e-commerce platform. With unmatched expertise in web development, our ideal candidate will create rich, interactive front-end solutions that fulfill our clientele’s e-commerce requirements. In addition to superior Shopify skills, applicants must be extremely well-versed in using HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create both adaptive and responsive digital solutions.

Must possess superior communication & collaboration skills, as they will directly interact with development teams, UX designers, information architects, marketers, and even clients. Working at the intersection of design & technology, they must be able to actualize a creative vision through informed technical implementation.

Job Responsibilities:
- Be our resident Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the e-commerce platform
- Collaborate with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, and innovative front-end user experiences
- Generate custom-tailored Shopify themes, and altering pre-existing templates
- Work closely with project managers to address client requests
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to meet their specific needs and requirements at a moment’s notice
- Understand business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation
- A/B Testing Experience on Shopify
- Understanding of optimization of websites to decrease loading time
- Minimizing JS and CSS
- Optimizing Code to be as clean as possible

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a similar field
- 2+ years of experience developing within the Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms
- 2+ years of experience in front-end technologies including, but not limited to, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, XML
- Superb troubleshooting & debugging skills
- Interest in staying current and applying the most up-to-date best practices
- Able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment
- Has a real passion for design and technology
- Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
- Positive attitude, high energy, and love for broadening web development skill set
- Excellent writing skills, verbal communicator, with great interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines, tasks, and duties
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knows Asana, Slack for tasks management and communication
- Strong understanding of the best practice in online- and social media marketing
- Ability to work alone and with minimal supervision
- Monday to Saturday, 9am - 6pm
