We are rapidly expanding, especially in the US market, and we're looking for a sharp, analytical, performance-driven **Creative Strategist** who lives and breathes paid social. This is the person who d
You won't be pushing pixels in Photoshop all day. Your output is the strategy and the brief: the angle, the persona, the hook, the concept, the shotlist. The visuals follow your thinking. This is one of the highest-leverage roles on the team — get the brief right and everything downstream scales; get it wrong and we burn spend on beautiful ads that don't sell.
2) What You'll Do
- Write 20+ creative briefs per week that translate strategy into clear, buildable direction for designers and video editors across Meta (Feed, Reels, Stories), TikTok, and other platforms
- Develop distinct messaging angles mapped to specific personas, pain points, and awareness stages — not "glow from within" mush, but sharp, differentiated concepts that filter for the right buyer
- Research relentlessly: tear down competitor ads, build and maintain swipe files, study what's winning in beauty/wellness feeds, and reverse-engineer *why* it works
- Define hooks, concepts, and formats for each brief — including the first 3 seconds, the scroll-stopper, and the CTA
- Write UGC scripts, listicle scripts, and shotlists when a brief needs them, and spec AI image/video prompts clearly enough that a designer can execute without guessing
- Partner with designers, copywriters, and our influencer/KOL team to ideate and pressure-test concepts before they go into production
- Read the data and let it drive the next brief: hook rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS, thumbstop. Kill what's losing, double down on what's winning, and brief accordingly
- Build and extend the frameworks, templates, and naming conventions that let the team move fast and stay organised
3) What You Bring
**Must-haves**
- 2+ year working on paid social creative — as a strategist, brief-writer, media buyer who briefs creative, UGC strategist, agency creative, or a strong self-directed track record (your own ads, teardowns, or a brand you've run creative for all count)
- Strategic thinking with an actual framework — you reach for persona ? pain ? angle ? hook ? format, not vibes. When you watch an ad you can say *precisely* why it works or doesn't
- Strong, clear writing. A brief is only useful if a designer can build from it without a meeting. You write tight, specific, and unambiguous
- Working understanding of how paid social performs: what hook rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS mean, and how creative moves them
- The ability to generate volume, not just curate. Performance creative is a numbers game — you can produce 15 hooks fast, then know which 3 are worth shooting
- Comfort taking direct, critical feedback and iterating without ego. The job is briefing creative against data feedback every single week, often when the data says your favourite concept flopped. You revise, you don't sulk
- Hungry to learn, genuinely curious about why people buy, and energised by the idea that your work is measured by performance, not praise
4) AI Proficiency (required)
We expect everyone on this team to use AI to think faster, research deeper, and produce more. You should already be comfortable with — or eager to learn — the tools we use day to day:
- **Ideation, research & brief-writing:** ChatGPT, Claude, or similar — for brainstorming angles, structuring briefs, analysing reviews and competitor ads, and pressure-testing concepts
- **Prompt engineering for production:** you can write image/video prompts precise enough for a designer to run through Nano Banana (Google Gemini's image model), ChatGPT Images, Seedance 2.0, or Veo 3 and get usable output
- **Workflow:** you use AI to compress research and first drafts so you spend your time on the thinking that matters, not the busywork
In the interview process, you'll be asked to show how AI actually shows up in your workflow — not that you've tried these tools, but how you've integrated them into how you strategise and write. If you haven't used our exact stack, that's fine — you should have hands-on experience with comparable tools and be ready to pick ours up quickly.
**Nice-to-haves**
- Personal interest in beauty, wellness, or skincare (you're a KYOR target customer or close to one)
- Familiarity with supplement/beauty compliance — claim substantiation, on-label mechanism language, the difference between a sellable claim and a liability
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, creative testing, or structured ad scorecards
- Hands-on UGC and influencer/KOL experience — scripting, shotlists, working with creators
- An eye for art direction — you can't make the ad, but you know what good looks like and can point a designer toward it
## 5) How to Apply
Send the following to
