Location: Remote (Philippines)
Pay: $6.00 USD per hour
Schedule: Sunday – Friday (U.S. Pacific Time)
Hours: Full-Time

About Us

A fast-growing U.S.-based company in the packaging and consumer products industry. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who wants to grow their career while working directly with a U.S.-based management team.

Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting schedules
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
Assist with financial reporting and management reports
Support audits by preparing requested documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Perform other accounting duties assigned by management

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or other ERP/accounting software
Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal English communication
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with U.S.-based companies
Experience with inventory or eCommerce businesses
Month-end close experience
