T-Shirt Design Artist (Photoshop, Illustrator + AI Tools)

About Us:

We are a small, U.S.-based family-run heritage and travel apparel brand specializing in Irish, Scottish, and Celtic-inspired designs. We create unique print-on-demand (POD) T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies that celebrate heritage, ancestry, and a love of the lands and stories of Ireland and Scotland.
Position Overview:

We're looking for a creative T-Shirt Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI image generation tools (Nano Banana 2 and GPT Image 2), and can produce high-quality vintage Irish, Scottish, and Celtic heritage and travel designs ready for POD use.
Most designs should take 1–2 hours to complete. This starts with paid test projects. Designers who consistently hit our quality and turnaround bar move into steady ongoing work — enough volume to fill 20+ hours/week for the right person.
???? Responsibilities

Create original T-shirt designs that fit our vintage Irish, Scottish, and Celtic heritage aesthetic
Develop artwork based on reference images, concepts, or themes provided
Work with AI-generated designs (from Nano Banana 2 and GPT Image 2) to clean up, refine, recolor, and finalize them for print
Use Photoshop and Illustrator to enhance and prepare designs with vintage-inspired textures, color palettes, and detail
Vectorize raster images and ensure artwork is clean, sharp, and scalable
Deliver final files in transparent PNG and vector formats, suitable for POD use
Collaborate with the creative team and apply feedback efficiently

? Requirements
?? THIS IS A BIG ONE — please read carefully:

You must have proven, hands-on experience with ALL FOUR of these tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Nano Banana 2, and GPT Image 2. This is not a "willing to learn" role. If you are not already skilled and actively working in all four, this position is not a fit. Applications that don't clearly demonstrate experience with all four will not be considered.
Beyond that, you should also bring:

Skill at interpreting reference art and adapting to brand style
Ability to vectorize and clean up designs for high-quality printing
Your own access to all required tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Nano Banana 2, and GPT Image 2) — we do not provide software or tool access
Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and timely communication

$7–$12 per hour, based on experience
Paid test projects to start
Ongoing work available for designers who meet quality and turnaround expectations — 20+ hrs/week of volume for top performers
