Web Designer / Programmer

An established Irish technology company is seeking to exclusively employ a full-time, permanent, home-based web designer and programmer.

This role will involve creating websites for small business clients in Ireland, primarily on the Wordpress platform. The successful applicant will have strong skills in web design (psd), graphic manipulation, Wordpress theme creation (psd slicing) and/or customisation and sufficient intermediate skills in HTML, CSS and PHP to fulfil this role. The person hired will be able to take a client brief and turn it into a good looking Wordpress site in a tmely manner.

Candidates must also have very good written English and English comprehension as you will eventually need to work directly with clients, by email, once you have settled into your role. Spoken English should be good to allow for Skype converstions with Irish colleagues.

Experience in a similar role is essential.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills and will be paid weekly for the first month and monthly thereafter. We are aware of and will pay the 13th month. Working hours will consist of any 8 hours each day between the hours of 7am and 7pm Irish time to a total 40 hours per week.
