I am looking for a proactive Creative Marketing Assistant / Social Media VA to support the marketing side of my wedding photography business.
The role will mainly involve helping with social media planning, content creation, blogging, WordPress updates and general organisation of marketing content. I have a large archive of wedding galleries, pre-wedding shoots and creative photography work, and I need someone who can help turn that content into regular posts, blog articles, captions, Reels ideas, Pinterest content and other marketing material.
The ideal person will have a good eye for design, photography and storytelling. They should be confident looking through image galleries, selecting strong photos, suggesting post ideas and helping me share my work more consistently. Graphic design skills would be very useful, especially for creating social media graphics, blog images, Pinterest pins and simple marketing assets.
WordPress experience would be helpful, as part of the role may include uploading and formatting blog posts, improving older blog content, adding images, updating pages and helping with basic SEO. Experience with social media scheduling or planning tools would also be useful.
I am looking for someone who is organised, creative and proactive. I do not just want someone who waits for tasks. I would like someone who can suggest ideas, ask me for content, spot opportunities in older galleries, help plan future posts and actively support the growth of the business.
There may also be some secondary admin tasks, such as helping organise
This is a part-time remote role to begin with, with the potential to grow over time if it works well.
