# Home Care Referral Development Coordinator (Remote)
### About Us
OPA Home Care is a growing home care agency serving seniors, veterans, and individuals who need assistance remaining safely in their homes. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented Referral Development Coordinator to help expand our referral network and drive new client growth.
This is a long-term remote position for someone who is comfortable with outreach, relationship management, CRM tracking, and business development activities.
### What You'll Do
Your primary responsibility is to generate qualified referrals that convert into new home care clients.
Responsibilities include:
* Researching and identifying potential referral sources
* Building relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, social workers, discharge planners, physician offices, senior centers, veterans organizations, and community partners
* Conducting outreach through phone calls,
* Scheduling meetings for agency leadership with referral partners
* Maintaining accurate CRM records and referral tracking reports
* Following up on referral opportunities and maintaining ongoing communication with referral sources
* Monitoring referral conversion rates and reporting results
* Assisting with marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives
* Creating and maintaining referral partner databases
### Requirements
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience in sales, lead generation, business development, recruiting, healthcare marketing, or customer relationship management
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and follow-through
* Experience using CRMs, spreadsheets, and business software
* Reliable internet connection and computer
### Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with U.S. healthcare organizations
* Home care, home health, hospice, staffing, or healthcare marketing experience
* Experience with LinkedIn outreach and lead generation
* Familiarity with VA Community Care, Medicaid, or senior care services
### Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* 50+ referral outreach activities per day
* 10+ new referral partner conversations per week
* 5+ qualified referral opportunities generated per month
* CRM updated daily
* Weekly reporting completed on time
### What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate consistently identifies new referral opportunities, develops strong professional relationships, and helps generate new client admissions through organized, persistent outreach efforts.
