Job Overview
We are looking for a Solar Project Coordinator to support our residential solar team with project coordination, customer communication, scheduling support, document tracking, and day-to-day project follow-up.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable helping move residential solar and battery projects through the pipeline from sale to installation, inspection, PTO, and closeout.
You will work closely with our residential operations team, project managers, sales team, design team, permitting team, installers, inspectors, utility coordinators, and customers to help make sure projects stay organized and move forward as quickly as possible.
The goal of this role is simple: help keep projects on track, keep customers updated, reduce delays, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Pay:
$5 to $8 per hour, depending on experience and fit.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities may include:
* Helping coordinate residential solar and battery projects from contract through completion
* Tracking project status, deadlines, missing documents, and next steps
* Communicating with customers and providing project updates
* Coordinating with sales, design, permitting, scheduling, installation, inspection, and utility teams
* Helping collect customer documents, utility bills, site photos, signed forms, and project information
* Assisting with permit package tracking and plan status follow-up
* Helping schedule site surveys, installations, inspections, service visits, and follow-up appointments
* Updating project management software, CRM, spreadsheets, and internal trackers
* Following up on delayed projects and identifying bottlenecks
* Helping prepare project notes and handoffs between departments
* Tracking inspection results, corrections, and reschedule needs
* Assisting with utility interconnection, PTO tracking, and closeout documentation
* Helping make sure customers receive timely updates throughout the project
* Creating checklists, SOPs, and better workflows for residential project coordination
* Supporting the residential team with other administrative and coordination tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate

* Comfortable working with checklists, trackers, CRMs, and project management tools
* Able to follow processes carefully and document notes clearly
* Calm under pressure and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
* Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently
* Willing to learn solar project workflows, permitting, inspections, and utility processes
* Focused on helping customers have a smooth and professional experience
Experience That Would Be Helpful:
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
* Solar project coordination
* Residential solar operations
* Construction coordination
* Customer service
* Scheduling
* Permitting support
* Utility interconnection support
* CRM or project management software
* Google Sheets, Excel, Google Drive, Gmail, or similar tools
* Solar, roofing, electrical, HVAC, construction, or home services experience
Solar experience is preferred, but we are open to training the right person if they are organized, dependable, and a strong communicator.

Schedule
This is a full-time position.
Pacific Time availability is preferred because this role supports our U.S.-based residential solar team and customers.
