Chat-Based Vendor Sales & Booking Specialist

FoodeesFest is hiring a full-time Chat-Based Vendor Sales & Booking Specialist.

This is not a basic VA/admin role. This is a written sales and booking role. You will communicate with food trucks, restaurants, crafters, and vendors through Meta messages, email, and Eventeny. No phone calls are required.

Your job is to help move vendors from interest to application submitted, approval, payment, and booked status.

You must be comfortable with direct but professional American-style sales communication. We are friendly, but we do not use weak messages like “let me know if you have questions.” We guide vendors to the next decision.

Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly to Meta vendor messages
- Qualify vendors by asking intake and discovery questions
- Explain FoodeesFest vendor opportunities
- Send the correct event application link
- Follow up until vendors submit applications
- Handle common objections through written messages
- Use approved rebuttal scripts
- Check/update vendor status in Eventeny or our tracking system
- Help recover stalled applications and failed payments
- Keep clean notes so the next tea ---------- mber knows what happened

You must be good at:
- Written English
- Fast message response
- Following sales scripts
- Asking direct questions
- Moving people to a yes/no decision
- Staying organized
- Handling rejection professionally
- Working during U.S. business/evening hours

This role requires confidence, urgency, and attention to detail.

Required:
- Excellent written English
- Experience with chat, email, customer support, sales support, appointment setting, lead generation, or CRM work
- Comfortable working U.S. hours
- Reliable internet and computer
- Able to follow scripts exactly during training
- Able to write short, clear, confident messages
- Comfortable asking vendors to take action

Preferred:
- Experience with Meta Business Suite
- Experience with event booking, vendor coordination, CRM, sales pipeline, or e-commerce support
- Experience handling objections in writing
- Experience using Google Sheets, Airtable, or similar tracking tools
