About the Role
MarketX Inc. is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Publishing Assistant to support the daily editorial and production operations of BraveMind Publishing, the publishing brand of MarketX Inc.
The Publishing Assistant will help monitor book projects, coordinate with writers, editors, proofreaders, layout designers, and other creative tea
This role requires someone with strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and leadership ability in handling and coordinating tea
Key Responsibilities
Directly report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) regarding publishing operations, team progress, and project updates.
Monitor and track the progress of ongoing book projects.
Coordinate with writers, editors, proofreaders, layout designers, and other publishing tea
Assign and follow up on tasks using project management tools such as
Ensure that deadlines, revisions, and deliverables are properly monitored.
Assist in reviewing manuscripts, documents, and editorial outputs when needed.
Help organize files, project folders, manuscript versions, and production documents.
Communicate updates, concerns, delays, and progress reports to the CMO or management.
Support the publishing team in maintaining a smooth and organized editorial workflow.
Help ensure that all tea
Provide leadership support by guiding, reminding, and coordinating tea
Qualifications
With experience in publishing, editorial work, book production, project coordination, virtual assistance, or related roles.
Experience working with writers, editors, proofreaders, designers, or creative teams is an advantage.
Strong leadership and coordination skills in handling tea
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Good communication skills in English and/or Taglish.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and deadline-driven.
Able to follow instructions and provide clear updates.
Familiarity with
Basic editing or proofreading experience is a plus, but the main focus of the role is project coordination and publishing support.
