Position Overview

Solterra is a growing Etsy business specializing in digital products, print-on-demand (POD) items, and handmade creations within the self-care and custom gifts niche. We are passionate about creating thoughtful, high-quality products that help customers celebrate meaningful moments, practice self-care, and find unique personalized gifts.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) to manage and grow our social media presence, with a primary focus on Facebook and Pinterest. The goal of this role is to drive targeted traffic to our Etsy store, increase brand visibility, and support overall shop growth.

This is a part-time position starting at approximately 8 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as the business grows and performance expectations are met.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain our Facebook and Pinterest accounts.

Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with the Solterra brand and product offerings.

Develop strategies to increase traffic from social media platforms to our Etsy store.

Create content that promotes our digital, POD, and handmade products in the self-care and custom gifts categories.

Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages as needed.

Research trends, keywords, and content ideas relevant to our niche.

Track performance and provide regular updates on growth and traffic metrics.

Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

Maintain organized records and follow established workflows.

Qualifications

Experience managing social media accounts, particularly Facebook and Pinterest.

Familiarity with Etsy and e-commerce marketing is preferred.

Experience promoting digital products, print-on-demand products, handmade goods, or gift-related brands is a plus.

Strong written communication skills.

Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Efficient, proactive, and results-oriented.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.

Communication & Reporting

Primary communication will be through WhatsApp.

Initially, you will report directly to the Etsy shop owner.

Regular progress updates and performance discussions will be expected.

Compensation

Pay rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Performance and compensation will be reviewed after the first 30 days.

Position starts at approximately 8 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours based on performance and business needs.
