SOFTWARE ENGINEER

In this role, you will
• Design and build automation systems using Python, APIs, AI, and cloud infrastructure
• Automate workflows across email, PDFs, web portals, and internal operations
• Build multi step pipelines and orchestrated systems, not one off scripts
• Work directly with teams to redesign processes for automation
• Develop a centralized automation system with logging, monitoring, and error handling
• Make thoughtful decisions around tooling, balancing performance, cost, and scalability
• Build systems around real insurance workflows including submissions, quoting, binding, renewals, and policy servicing

You should be strong in
• Python and backend system design
• API integrations and system connectivity
• Web automation such as Playwright or Selenium
• PDF parsing, OCR, and email parsing
• AI and LLM integrations with practical application
• Workflow orchestration and pipeline design
• AWS and or Google Cloud
• Insurance agency workflows and carrier portal processes
