Supply Chain & Logistics Manager:
The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager owns end-to-end supply chain, inventory planning, and logistics operations at Teton. This role is responsible for ensuring the right inventory is available at the right time to support customer demand, sales growth, and operational efficiency across domestic fulfillment and direct import fulfillment programs.
This position serves as the primary bridge between Sales and Operations, partnering closely with Account Managers, Purchasing, Warehouse Operations, Product Development, Finance, and Client Services to proactively plan inventory, support customer opportunities, and execute fulfillment strategies that meet customer expectations. The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager is responsible for maintaining inventory availability across Teton facilities, fulfillment partners, and customer-specific programs while balancing service levels, inventory investment, and supply chain risk.
Success in this role requires strong collaboration with the Sales team to understand upcoming customer needs, forecast demand, secure inventory, and develop fulfillment solutions that support both domestic distribution and direct import programs. This role also manages supplier relationships, international freight operations, fulfillment network optimization, and logistics support staff.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Partnership & Customer Fulfillment
• Partner closely with the Sales team to understand customer opportunities, forecasted demand, program launches, and inventory requirements.
• Ensure inventory availability and fulfillment readiness to support sales growth, customer commitments, and account retention.
• Develop inventory and fulfillment strategies for both domestic distribution and direct import customer programs.
• Provide proactive inventory visibility, supply chain risk assessments, and replenishment recommendations to Sales and Account Management teams.
• Participate in customer planning discussions and support large opportunities by evaluating inventory availability, lead times, sourcing options, and fulfillment solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution of customer-specific inventory programs, special buys, launch inventories, and direct import shipments.
• Identify potential inventory constraints and collaborate with Sales and Operations to develop mitigation plans before customer service is impacted.
• Serve as the operational owner of inventory availability and fulfillment performance for key customer programs.
Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management
• Own inventory planning and replenishment strategies across all Teton facilities and fulfillment partners.
• Monitor inventory levels, inventory health, and stock availability to ensure Sales teams can confidently support customer demand and growth opportunities.
• Lead collaborative forecasting efforts with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to align inventory investments with customer demand, strategic initiatives, and revenue goals.
• Analyze inventory performance, safety stock levels, and inventory turns to optimize working capital while maintaining service levels.
• Develop inventory allocation strategies that prioritize customer commitments, key accounts, and growth opportunities while balancing overall inventory health.
• Identify risks related to inventory shortages, excess inventory, supplier delays, and demand fluctuations, and develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate inventory data and reporting within Fishbowl Inventory and other operational systems.
• Support product launches, seasonal demand planning, and inventory allocation strategies.
• Establish additional fulfillment centers as needed and manage inventory movement between locations.
Supplier & Procurement Coordination
• Partner with suppliers and factories to align production schedules, readiness dates, lead times, and shipment planning.
• Monitor supplier performance related to quality, lead times, capacity, and delivery reliability.
• Support supplier communication, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with sourcing projects and supply chain optimization efforts as needed.
Inbound Logistics
• Manage end-to-end inbound freight from international suppliers to all Teton facilities and Canadian 3PL partners.
• Coordinate directly with factories on readiness dates, booking lead times, ship windows, INCOTERMS, and routing compliance.
• Manage container bookings, shipment tracking, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of all import documentation, packaging specifications, labeling, and shipping requirements.
• Maintain complete visibility of inbound shipments and expected inventory receipts.
• Analyze freight spend, transit times, and landed costs to drive efficiency and negotiate competitive rates.
Client Logistics
• Own client-facing logistics for both U.S.-based clients and international distributors.
• Manage international client and distributor shipments, including export documentation and coordination with client-appointed forwarders.
• Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for clients and distributors, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue management.
• Support Sales and Client Services with accurate shipment data, inventory availability, and delivery updates.
Team Leadership
• Supervise and support logistics administrative staff and Online Specialist(s).
• Define workflows, ownership, and communication standards across the logistics team.
• Provide training, feedback, coaching, and process documentation to support accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Foster accountability through clear metrics and performance expectations.
• Develop and monitor key supply chain metrics, including inventory turns, fill rates, forecast accuracy, freight costs, and supplier performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost control, and data accuracy.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, inventory planning, international logistics, freight forwarding, or related operations roles.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, forecasting, procurement, and logistics operations.
• Experience with AI Forecasting Tools
• Demonstrated experience partnering with Sales teams to support customer demand planning, inventory availability, and fulfillment execution.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, INCOTERMS, customs compliance, tariffs, and import/export documentation.
• Experience managing freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and external partners.
• Proven ability to analyze inventory, freight, and operational data to drive business decisions.
• Experience leading or supporting logistics, supply chain, or operations teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, or planning systems (Fishbowl preferred).
• Advanced Excel or data analysis skills preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.
