**About the role**
We recently changed our domain and our search impressions and traffic have dropped noticeably since. We're looking for an SEO specialist who knows Webflow inside and out to investigate what went wrong, fix it, and rebuild our site's SEO foundation so we recover and grow.
This starts as a focused project, but we'd love to find someone we can keep on long-term to own our SEO and site health as we scale.
**What you'll do**
- Audit our recent domain migration and pinpoint why impressions/views dropped (redirects, canonical issues, indexing, lost backlinks, sitemap problems, etc.)
- Diagnose and document the issues clearly, then fix them
- Work directly in Webflow to revamp pages, structure, on-page SEO, and technical setup
- Set up and read Google Search Console and Google Analytics to track recovery
- Implement proper 301 redirects, meta tags, schema, internal linking, and page speed improvements
- Give us a prioritized plan and ongoing recommendations
**Must-have skills**
- Proven SEO experience, especially with domain migrations and recovering lost traffic
- Hands-on Webflow expertise (not just theory — you've built and edited live Webflow sites)
- Strong with Google Search Console, GA4, and tools like Ahrefs/SEMrush/Screaming Frog
- Technical SEO: redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, robots.txt, schema markup, Core Web Vitals
- Good written English and clear communication
**Nice to have**
- CRO or conversion-focused design sense
- Content/keyword strategy experience
- Basic HTML/CSS for custom Webflow tweaks
**To apply, please answer:**
1. Have you handled a domain change before? Briefly describe what happened to traffic and how you fixed it.
2. What are the first 3 things you'd check when impressions drop after a domain migration?
3. Share 1–2 Webflow sites you've worked on (links).
4. Start your reply with the word "Recovery" so we know you read this.
