Who We're Looking For
We're building a dedicated team of asset finance support professionals to work directly with Australian asset finance brokers. If you have hands-on experience processing equipment, vehicle, or commercial asset finance applications and understand the end-to-end broker workflow, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing Every Day
Managing asset finance files end-to-end — from initial client enquiry through to settlement and post-settlement
Data entry and file management in broker CRM platforms (Mercury, Salesforce, or equivalent)
Preparing and submitting finance applications to lenders via broker portals
Ordering and tracking asset valuations and credit assessments
Requesting and tracking pricing and rate concessions from lenders
Running asset finance calculators — balloon payments, residual values, comparison rates, repayment schedules
Preparing compliance documents, credit diary notes, settlement letters, and payout figures
Ordering and interpreting commercial credit reports (e.g. Equifax, CreditorWatch, Veda)
Coordinating with lenders, vendors, dealers, and clients throughout the approval and settlement process
Managing discharge and payout requests, PPSR checks, and ASIC searches
Preparing funds-to-complete confirmations and settlement instructions
Post-settlement tasks — invoice reconciliation, asset registration follow-up, client retention

You Must Have
2–3 years of experience in Australian asset finance — broker-side, not lender operations
Asset finance product knowledge — equipment finance, chattel mortgage, novated lease, hire purchase, commercial hire purchase, finance lease, operating lease
Lender portal experience — submitting and tracking applications with major AU asset finance lenders (e.g. Westpac, NAB, ANZ, Macquarie, Pepper Money, Angle Finance, Grow Finance, Shift, ScotPac, Liberty, Fifo Capital)
Income assessment — PAYG, self-employed, company, and trust financials for asset finance purposes
CRM proficiency — Mercury, Salesforce, or comparable broker CRM
Understanding of GST, ABN, and tax implications relevant to asset finance structures
AEST business hours — full-time, Monday to Friday
Excellent written and spoken English — direct communication with brokers, clients, and lenders

Minimum Requirements
Strong understanding of chattel mortgage and finance lease structures
Comfortable handling multiple files simultaneously with strict attention to detail and deadlines
Familiar with PPSR (Personal Property Securities Register) searches and registrations
Understanding of responsible lending obligations and privacy requirements under Australian law
Proficient in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, Outlook
Fast internet connection and professional home office setup

Nice to Have
Experience with novated leasing or fleet finance
Exposure to construction equipment, yellow goods, or specialised asset classes
Familiarity with commercial property-backed asset finance
Experience using ApplyOnline, Loanapp, or Simpology for commercial submissions
Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking or equivalent

Education
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required. We value hands-on Australian asset finance experience above qualifications. Candidates without a degree but with 2+ years of direct broker support experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

What We Offer
Competitive base salary based on experience
HMO coverage
Leave credits
13th Month Pay
Career growth — we're building a 50+ person capability centre within 12 months

About the Role
This is a direct broker support role — you work for the broker, not a lender or bank. You are the engine behind the broker's business, managing their asset finance pipeline, keeping deals moving, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between application and settlement.
You'll be part of Pierian Australia's dedicated back-office capability centre, supporting Australian asset finance brokers across commercial equipment, vehicles, technology, and other asset classes.
