Content Producer / Strategist
The connective layer between raw founder output and the editing team, owns flow, curation, and the quality checkpoint.


Primary Goal

Keep the content pipeline flowing. Take the founder’s raw output, calls, podcasts, talking-head shoots. Curate what is worth making, brief editors with clear lanes, templates, and references, and own the quality checkpoint before content ships. This role removes the founder and content lead as the bottleneck on every piece of content.


Where This Role Sits

This is the producer / curator seat between capture and editing. You d ---------- what gets made and by whom, prep footage so it is easy to edit, pre-identify the strongest ---------- nts so editors assemble rather than hunt, and gatekeep quality. As we scale toward high daily volume, you are the reason it does not jam.


Key Responsibilities

• Decompose each long-form source into the full set of strong short pieces it can yield: mapping each clip, its hook, and the platform or format it serves, so one recording becomes a planned batch, not a single cut.
• Review incoming raw footage and transcripts; select the strongest ---------- nts and hooks for editing.
• Assign work to editors by lane; provide briefs, templates, references, and hook direction.
• Own the quality checkpoint, approve or reject before publish; protect brand voice and content boundaries.
• Coordinate the pipeline across capture ? AI culling ? editing ? distribution; keep it moving and unblocked.
• Use AI tools (Claude) to pull highlights from long-form and draft hooks and captions at speed.
• Track what is working and feed it back into the lanes (winners ? multiply).


Required Skills & Tools

• Hook and short-form judgment: knows what makes a video stop the scroll in the first two seconds.
• Native or near-native English with strong copy and caption instincts (US / English-language audience).
• Editing literacy: need not be a top editor, but must speak the craft and brief editors precisely.
• Tools: Notion, Descript, Claude, Google Workspace; comfort with AI-assisted workflows.


Experience

2+ years in content production, social media management, or short-form strategy for creators or brands. Has run or coordinated a content pipeline.

• Hook / quality judgment: the single most important screen. Show candidates raw clips and ask what they would cut and why.
• Ownership without ego: can run the checkpoint and direct editors while keeping the founder’s voice, not imposing their own.
• Calm under volume: keeps a high-throughput pipeline organized and unjammed.


Rate: $800.00 USD
Work Schedule: Full-time:40 hours per week
Preferred: Overlap with U.S. Pacific Time
Requirement: Minimum 2 years of proven experience
