About Us
We're Cerv
This is content people actually want to watch — not corporate filler. If you love editing and you "get" what makes a clip go viral, you'll have fun here.
What You'll Do
Take raw footage (phone clips, GoPro, trail/field content) and edit it into polished Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikToks
Cut for the hook — grab attention in the first 1–2 seconds and hold it to the end
Add captions/subtitles, sound design, trending audio, b-roll, text overlays, and clean transitions
Format and export correctly for each platform (vertical 9:16, proper specs, safe zones)
Post and schedule finished videos across YouTube, TikTok,
Stay on top of current trends, sounds, and formats and bring ideas to the table
Turn around edits consistently and on deadline
What We're Looking For
Proven short-form editing skill — Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or After Effects (tell us which)
A real eye for hooks, pacing, and retention — you understand why a clip works, not just how to cut it
Solid grasp of platform specs and best practices for YT Shorts, TikTok, IG Reels, and FB
Captioning, motion text, and sound-syncing that looks clean and professional
Reliable internet, your own editing setup, and good written English
Self-directed — you can take raw content and run with it without hand-holding
Bonus Points
Interest in or familiarity with hunting / outdoor culture
Thumbnail design and basic motion graphics
Experience managing posting schedules or a content calendar
Knowledge of what's currently trending in the outdoor/hunting niche
Portfolio Requirement (Important)
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. Send us:
3–5 short-form videos you personally edited (Reels / Shorts / TikToks)
Live links to where they're actually posted if possible (we want to see real published work, not just demo reels)
A one-line note on each: what was the raw input and what did you do with it
If some of the work was a team effort, tell us exactly which parts were yours.
How to Apply
Start your application with the word "BLAZE" so we know you read the full post.
Link your portfolio (see requirement above).
In 2–3 sentences, tell us what makes a short-form video stop the scroll — we want your actual opinion.
List your editing software and how many years you've used it.
Tell us your availability and turnaround time on a typical 30–60 second edit.
We review every application that follows these steps. Strong applicants will be sent a short paid test edit before hiring.
