Senior Chief Architect Designer (Residential)

A US based residential architecture and structural engineering firm (New York and Connecticut) is looking for a senior Chief Architect designer for a long term, part time role of about 20 to 30 hours per week. We want one dependable person to grow with us, not short term project help.
You will receive marked up plans and email direction and develop the work in Chief Architect into permit ready construction documents.
Responsibilities:

Knowledge of Chief Architect X12 and AutoCAD is a must. Build and refine Chief Architect models. Produce complete permit drawing sets including plans, elevations, sections, structural sheets, and details. Apply our office drawing standards and title block consistently. Turn around markups and revisions accurately and on time. Keep clear written communication by email throughout the week. Availability on Microsoft Teams

Requirements:
5 or more years of residential architectural design and drafting experience. Expert-level Chief Architect program proficiency. Strong knowledge of US residential construction and code-based drawing requirements. Excellent written English. Highly responsive, organized, and able to overlap with US Eastern hours for part of each day. Your own reliable computer and fast internet. Diligent in working through design items and the ability to anticipate steps involved in the plan set development.

Hours and pay:
Part time, about 20 to 30 hours per week, ongoing. Monthly pay, paid directly, rate based on experience. Steady long term work for the right person.
