As we continue to grow our course library, educational resources, and brand presence, we are seeking a Creative Director & Educational Design Specialist who can transform complex educational content into visually compelling, highly effective learning experiences.

Position Overview

This is not simply a graphic design role.

The Creative Director & Educational Design Specialist serves as the visual steward of our educational content and brand experience. You will be responsible for translating complex concepts into polished, professional, and visually engaging educational materials that support student learning and elevate the overall learning experience.

You will work closely with the founder to transform raw content, training materials, protocols, presentations, and educational resources into high-quality visual assets used across courses, presentations, marketing materials, and professional partnerships.

The ideal candidate understands that great design is not about decoration—it is about communication, clarity, and creating exceptional educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Content Design

* Design and develop professional course materials for online education programs
* Create engaging visuals that improve comprehension and student learning outcomes
* Transform technical and clinical concepts into diagrams, infographics, charts, and visual learning tools
* Develop educational assets for digital courses and training programs

Presentation & Training Development

* Build professional training presentations and educational slide decks
* Create visually compelling presentations that support both live and online instruction
* Organize and structure educational content for maximum clarity and retention
* Ensure all presentations follow consistent design and educational standards

Brand & Marketing Asset Creation

* Develop one-sheets, protocol guides, resource documents, and educational handouts
* Create media kits, partnership decks, and promotional materials
* Support visual content needs across educational and marketing initiatives
* Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and materials

Visual Learning Experience Design

* Improve course visuals to enhance the overall student experience
* Design educational graphics that simplify complex information
* Collaborate on course launches and new program development
* Contribute ideas that improve student engagement and content delivery

Template & Design System Development

* Create Canva master templates for presentations, handouts, course materials, and marketing assets
* Develop and maintain a scalable visual design system
* Establish brand standards for typography, layouts, graphics, and educational materials
* Reduce design inefficiencies through reusable assets and templates

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

* Advanced Canva expertise
* Strong presentation design experience
* Experience creating educational, training, or instructional materials
* Exceptional understanding of layout, hierarchy, spacing, and information architecture
* Ability to create infographics, diagrams, charts, and visual learning aids
* Strong understanding of visual storytelling and educational design principles

Professional Skills

* Ability to transform rough content into polished educational materials

Within the first 90 days:

* A cohesive and professional visual identity is established across all educational materials
* Course content is visually engaging, organized, and easy to navigate
* Canva template systems are established and consistently used
* Educational presentations require minimal revisions
* Student-facing materials support learning and improve content retention
* Brand assets are consistent across courses, marketing materials, and partnerships

Application Process

Qualified candidates will complete a brief paid design assessment.

Candidates will be provided with a sample educational training document and asked to create:

* A 5-slide educational presentation
* A one-sheet resource document
* An infographic or visual learning aid

Applicants should also submit 3 portfolio examples that demonstrate experience designing educational, training, course, or instructional materials.
