We are looking for a highly organized and financially minded Real Estate Financial & Property Operations Coordinator to support a growing real estate investment portfolio. This role combines bookkeeping, financial administration, property operations, compliance tracking, vendor coordination, and maintenance oversight.
This is not a traditional property management role. We are looking for someone who can support the financial and operational side of a real estate investment business while maintaining strong attention to detail and accountability.
- Manage accounts receivable and track tenant payments
- Monitor bank accounts and record financial transactions accurately
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain financial records
- Prepare rent rolls, delinquency reports, financial reports, and P&L statements
- Support lender requests and financial documentation requirements
- Track mortgage payments, escrow accounts, and loan-related correspondence
- Review vendor invoices and coordinate payment approvals
- Maintain accounts payable records and supporting documentation
- Create and manage maintenance work orders
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site managers
- Track repairs, inspections, compliance deadlines, and violations
- Organize deeds, insurance policies, tax records, loan documents, and property files
- Maintain accurate records within DoorLoop and company systems
Requirements:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, financial administration, or property management support experience
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations
- Experience working with property management software
- Strong financial reporting and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential financial information
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Highly Preferred:
- DoorLoop experience
- Rent Manager experience
- Real estate investment experience
- Property management support experience
- Accounting or bookkeeping background
- Spanish language skills
