JOB OVERVIEW

Aquaways is a New Zealand civil infrastructure and water contractor specialising in water, wastewater and stormwater projects.

We are seeking a highly organised Tender Coordinator / Bid Writer to support the preparation of tender submissions for construction and infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand.

You will work directly with the Managing Director and Technical Director and more staff (as required) and help prepare professional tender submissions for local government, utilities, developers and principal contractors.

Your Responsibilities
* Prepare tender submissions, bids and non-price attributes responses
* Develop and maintain company capability statements
* Maintain project experience and track record databases
* Prepare project sheets and case studies
* Update personnel CVs and company profiles
* Create organisation charts and project team structures
* Assist with construction methodologies and work plans based on information provided by management (we will provide a draft copy in terms of methodology, and it is your responsibility to ensure it is nicely articulated, formatted and kept tidy.)
* Compile subcontractor and supplier schedules
* Format and proofread tender documents
* Prepare submission-ready PDF documents
* Maintain a library of standard tender content for future submissions

Requirements
* Excellent written English
* You must have experience preparing construction, engineering or infrastructure tenders
* Strong Microsoft Word, Excel & Office skills
* Strong document formatting skills
* Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
* Ability to meet strict deadlines
* You will occasionally participate in meetings (if required)

Working Arrangement
* Remote
* Part-time initially (15-25 hours per week)
* Potential to become full-time for the right candidate
