Do not apply or message me if you do not have real experience editing direct response Meta or Facebook ads. This is not a role for general video editors or beginners.

You also need to speak and understand English clearly. I am not going to go back and forth dealing with miscommunication, so if your English is not strong, please do not apply.

Who we are:

We are a DTC brand, scaling fast and we need editors who can take a given script and go make a direct response VSL that actually converts.

We are hiring 4 editors right now, plus one lead editor spot for whoever turns out to be exceptional.

What you will do:

You get a script made by me, a 60 second Loom, and sometimes a reference video. From that you go and create a finished 3 to 10 minute VSL on your own that is better than the reference and needs no fixing fro ---------- .

That means you handle the whole thing yourself: the hook, the b-roll, the AI avatars, the AI voice, the images, the scene selection, the pacing, the sound, and the effects. The voice has to match the avatar and the customer and sound like a real person, not a robot. The images and b-roll have to look real, not like fake AI slop. You understand what makes our target customer buy and what holds their attention, and you build the whole video around that.

You also need to be fast. We need a lot of volume and we need it done well at the highest standard.

Who I am looking for:

You are genuinely skilled at direct response Meta ads editing and you do not need hand holding. You already know how to use Veo3, Higgsfield, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, and CapCut, and you use them well. I provide paid access to all the tools once you are onboarded. If you have gone through Ecom Talent or a similar ecommerce Meta ads editing course, that is a big plus.
Pay and growth
Pay is $6 per video, plus good bonuses when your ads win. This is a full time role, not part time. We have a lot of concepts to get out, so there is steady high volume work and I need you available for it.

For the first month pay is sent every two weeks. Starting in month two we move to weekly pay.

After the first month, if you have proven that you are one of the best, I will move you into a lead editor role where you build our SOPs and train a team of 5 to 10 editors, and I will pay you significantly more for that.

How to apply:

Do not send me a profile, a resume, or a portfolio link. I want to see your actual best work with proof that you made it yourself.

Send me one Google Doc (make sure to send it with commenter access on) that shows and explains the different types of edits you have done. Include at least 5 different styles of your best work. For example a b-roll VSL story for a direct response Meta ads brand, an AI avatar ad for a direct response Meta ads brand, a cartoon animation made for a Meta ads brand, and so on. I want what you personally believe is your best work, whether or not it was the best performing. I just want to see how good you actually are.

Then at the bottom of that same doc, add your highest performing Meta ads edit that you made yourself.

--> Last, I want you to send 30sec loom with your camera on, showing your face, briefly explaining why I should hire you over the other editors based on your specific skills.
