JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced video editor who specializes in creating high-quality short-form content for personal brands.

Your main responsibility will be turning raw footage into engaging reels for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. We are looking for someone who understands storytelling, retention, pacing and modern editing styles that perform well on social media.

Responsibilities
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
Create engaging hooks and strong retention throughout the video
Add captions, animations, B-roll and sound effects where needed
Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips
Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style
Deliver content quickly and efficiently
Requirements
Proven experience editing content for personal brands
Strong understanding of social media content and viral editing techniques
Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or CapCut
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills

A short introduction video about yourself
A Loom video showing previous projects you've edited
In the Loom video, explain:
Which creators or brands you've worked with
Your editing process from raw footage to final reel
How you create strong hooks and improve retention
How you structure captions, animations and pacing
Examples of videos that performed well and why

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate real editing skills and explain their thought process, not just show finished videos.

Preferred
Experience editing content for coaches, entrepreneurs or personal brands
Understanding of content strategy and audience growth
Ability to create multiple content variations from a single recording
