YouTube Documentary Video Editor — Long-Term Role

I’m looking for one dedicated video editor for a long-term collaboration on a YouTube channel.

This is for someone who understands faceless documentary-style YouTube videos and knows how to make visuals support the story.

About The Videos

The videos are usually:

12–15 minutes long
Around 3 videos per week
Approximately 12-15 videos per month
Voice-over will be provided
Scripts will be provided
The format is clear and easy to follow

The content is mainly informational and documentary-style, so the editing needs to keep the viewer engaged without becoming too flashy or overproduced.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your main job will be to:

Listen carefully to the voice-over
Understand what the narrator is saying
Find the right footage, images, screenshots, maps, and visual references
Place the right visuals at the right ---------- nt
Add simple text, graphics, transitions, and pattern interrupts where needed
Keep the pacing smooth and engaging

The most important part of this role is visual storytelling.

I don’t need someone who just places random stock footage over a voice-over. I need someone who can listen, think, and choose visuals that actually match what is being said.

The style is:

Clean
Documentary-style
Informational
Faceless YouTube
Strong pacing
Clear visual support
Not overly flashy

This is not gaming editing.
This is not short-form TikTok editing.
This is long-form YouTube storytelling.

Requirements

You must:

Have experience editing faceless YouTube videos
Be fluent in English
Communicate clearly
Respond quickly
Be reliable with deadlines
Be comfortable joining calls when needed
Be honest and straightforward

I prefer working with someone mature, experienced, and long-term minded.

Availability

This is intended to become a consistent, long-term collaboration.

If we work well together, there may be more channels and more videos available in the future.

I’m looking for someone who wants to grow with the project, not someone who disappears after one or two videos.

Payment

Pay: $2.5 USD per finished minute

Average video length:

12–15 minutes

Average monthly volume:

Around 12-15 videos per month

If the workload increases, the monthly payment will increase accordingly.
