Experienced Wordpress Developer for a Law Firm Marketing Agency

We’re seeking a dedicated WordPress Developer contractor available for ~40 hours per week for an ongoing engagement to support our website team across multiple client projects. This role is ideal for a mid-level developer who can jump in quickly, contribute to active builds, troubleshoot issues independently (without relying heavily on AI), and help us scale both theme-based and custom development work. You’ll be working on theme development & troubleshooting alongside our lead developer, custom development projects, and ongoing website support, collaborating closely with our internal developer, website project manager, and SEO team. Must have a basic understanding of SEO and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities include:
Contributing to custom WordPress theme development using modular/reusable architecture
Building and modifying site components and templates
Supporting custom client development projects
Performing website support tasks and client website requests
Resolving code issues, bugs, and performance problems independently
Collaborate with website team to improve processes regularly

Requirements include strong experience with WordPress development, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Advanced Custom Fields, along with solid debugging skills and the ability to work independently. Must be available during U.S business hours.

Nice-to-have (but not required) skills include design/UI experience or IT troubleshooting.
