Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist (US Mental Health Practice)

Raincross Family Counseling is a growing California-based group practice seeking a highly organized Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist to manage provider credentialing, payer enrollment, recredentialing, and insurance-related administrative processes.

This is a long-term remote position supporting a team of licensed therapists and associates throughout California.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while communicating regularly with our leadership and administrative teams.

Responsibilities
Complete provider credentialing and recredentialing applications
Manage CAQH profiles and attestations
Track provider licenses, registrations, and credentialing deadlines
Submit and follow up on insurance panel applications
Communicate with insurance companies regarding application status
Maintain credentialing records and databases
Verify provider information and supporting documentation
Assist with payer contracting and provider enrollment processes
Track Medi-Cal, Kaiser, Anthem, Cigna, MHN, IEHP, and other insurance enrollments
Maintain organized electronic files and spreadsheets
Communicate updates to management regarding enrollment progress
Assist with provider onboarding and offboarding processes
Qualifications

Required:

Excellent English communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience working remotely
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Preferred:

Healthcare credentialing experience
CAQH experience
Insurance provider enrollment experience
Experience working with U.S. healthcare organizations
Knowledge of mental health or medical billing processes
Familiarity with insurance payers and provider networks
