JOB OVERVIEW

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development, implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure, hardware, and software utilized for the organization's website.
• Monitors web traffic, performance and capacity to identify, prevent and resolve issues.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure that the site provides content and functionality that meet the business needs of the organization.
• Maintains appropriate security and troubleshoots any issues.
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

Skills & Experience:

• Two years of progressively responsible web development and/or lead programmer; or equivalent years of progressive responsible web development and/or lead programmer experience.
• Demonstrated expert level experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, PHP.
• Development experience with the WordPress or similar CMS with demonstrated ability to make template updates, build modules, perform UI customizations, and manage CMS databases.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of MySQL databases and SQL programming, and ability to pull content from databases.
• Demonstrated ability to create usable and accessible Web sites - must have a portfolio showing past projects that meet this criteria.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro - specifically creating accessible documents and forms.
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (most notably either Photoshop or Illustrator).
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Web Master Tools.
• Demonstrated technical writing and/or editing experience.
• Proven ability to build strong client, colleague and partner relationships.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects to deadline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related.
