Online Reputation Management (ORM) Specialist — AI Search & Brand Narrative

Job Overview
We are a fast-growing, innovative brand, and we are looking for a highly capable, resourceful, and proactive Online Reputation Management (ORM) Specialist. You will take complete ownership of our digital footprint, from managing our presence on forums like Reddit to building a fortress of positive reviews on Trustpilot and Google, all with the ultimate goal of ensuring we show up flawlessly in AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).

If you are someone who waits to be told exactly how to handle a negative brand mention or needs step-by-step instructions on review generation, this is not the role for you. We need a tactical, results-focused professional who knows how to scrub the internet of unfair negativity, drown out the noise with high-quality positive content, and engineer our brand’s narrative across the modern web.

Core Responsibilities
- Forum & Reddit Management: Actively monitor brand mentions across Reddit and niche forums. Strategically mitigate, suppress, or facilitate the removal of negative comments and threads (utilizing ToS flags, moderation outreach, and strategic counter-narratives).
- Review Generation Mastermind: Build, execute, and manage systems to drive glowing reviews across platforms like Trustpilot, Google Reviews, Sitejabber, and industry-specific directories.
- Positive Content Proliferation: Distribute positive articles, PR, blog posts, and user-generated content across high-authority sites to ensure the first page of our search results is overwhelmingly positive.
- AI Search Engine Optimization: Structure and seed positive brand content across the web so that large language models (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) generate accurate, highly favorable summaries of our brand.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize brand monitoring tools to track sentiment, keyword visibility, and review velocity. Provide weekly updates on what’s ranking, what’s changing, and how our AI search presence is improving.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience is Mandatory: You must have a proven track record of successfully suppressing/removing negative search results and significantly boosting positive brand sentiment.
- Platform & Policy Expertise: You understand the complex ecosystems and moderation guidelines of Reddit, Trustpilot, and Google. You know the exact levers to pull to get unfair or defamatory content removed or pushed down.
- SEO & AI Search Intuition: You understand how traditional search engines and new AI search tools scrape, summarize, and prioritize information.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Flawless written English. You can write persuasive outreach emails, manage forum accounts organically, and craft brand-aligned responses to customer feedback.
- Proactive Problem-Solver: You naturally spot a negative link or a dip in Trustpilot score and immediately execute a multi-step plan to fix it without being asked.
- Reliable Setup: High-speed internet connection (with a backup plan) and a reliable computer capable of handling multiple workflows smoothly.
