About Us

Option One Solar is a growing solar, battery storage, roofing, and electrical contractor based in California. We are expanding our commercial solar division and looking for a motivated lead generation specialist to help us identify qualified commercial retrofit rooftop solar opportunities and set appointments for our sales team.

Role Overview

We are looking for someone who is confident with outbound prospecting, decision-maker research, cold calling, email outreach, CRM updates, and appointment setting. Your main responsibility will be to generate qualified commercial solar leads and book appointments for our salesperson.

This role is focused on retrofit rooftop commercial solar projects, meaning we are targeting existing commercial buildings that may benefit from adding solar, battery storage, roofing, or related energy services.

Responsibilities

- Research and identify potential commercial solar prospects
- Find and contact decision-makers such as building owners, property managers, facility managers, CFOs, operations - managers, and business owners
- Use your own tools and research methods to build prospect lists
- Make outbound calls and send follow-up emails
- Qualify prospects based on property type, energy usage potential, interest level, and decision-maker access
- Set qualified appointments for our salesperson
- Enter clean and accurate notes into our CRM
- Track call activity, follow-ups, appointment status, and lead quality
- Communicate clearly with our internal team during Pacific Time hours

Ideal Candidate

- Experience with outbound calling, cold outreach, lead generation, or appointment setting
- Strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable calling U.S. businesses
- Able to research companies, properties, and decision-makers independently
- Organized and detail-oriented with CRM experience
- Comfortable with rejection and high-volume outreach
- Reliable internet, quiet work environment, and professional phone presence
- Solar, roofing, construction, real estate, B2B, or commercial sales experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

This is a full-time role during standard Pacific Time business hours. Please only apply if you are comfortable working U.S. Pacific Time hours.

Compensation

Starting pay is $8/hr. There will be future growth opportunities based on performance, appointment quality, consistency, and ability to take on more responsibility.
