Global Staffing Solutions helps businesses connect with talented remote professionals. We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the book events and convention industry.

Our client organizes author signings, book conventions, and reader events throughout the year and is looking for a dependable Website & SEO Assistant to support their growing business.

Position Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with ongoing website maintenance and SEO-related tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new systems, follows instructions well, and enjoys keeping information organized and accurate.

Responsibilities
Update website content using Squarespace
Add, edit, and remove author, vendor, and narrator information
Upload photos, biographies, links, and event details
Ensure website content remains accurate and up to date
Assist with SEO improvements and optimization efforts
Support larger onboarding projects when new signing groups are added
Communicate regularly regarding project progress and updates

Requirements
Experience with Squarespace is a plus, but not required
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written English skills
Basic understanding of SEO principles preferred
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
Reliable internet connection and computer

Schedule & Compensation
Part-time hourly position
Flexible work schedule
No phone work required
Hours will vary based on project needs
Increased workload may occur during annual event onboarding periods
