Sales Operations Manager
Full-Time | Remote | £7.50 per hour
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing UK-based sales outsourcing company seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to lead and manage a team of Business Development Managers while acting as the key link between the company directors, clients, and delivery team.
The business partners with UK companies that require business development support, providing dedicated Business Development Managers who work directly with clients to generate leads, secure appointments, and drive revenue growth.
As the business continues to expand, the Director is seeking an experienced operations and sales leader who can take ownership of team management, performance monitoring, client relationships, and operational oversight.
This is a senior leadership position requiring strong people management skills, commercial awareness, and a proven ability to drive performance across a remote sales team.
Note: This is not a hands-on appointment-setting role. This position is focused on leadership, performance management, coaching, client retention, and ensuring delivery standards are consistently achieved across the team.
Working Hours
9:00am – 5:00pm UK Time (Monday – Friday)
4:00pm – 12:00am Philippines Time
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Manage and support a team of 8 Business Development Managers
Act as the primary point of contact between company directors and the BDM team
Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results
Ensure tea
Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development initiatives where required
Performance Management
Implement KPI tracking systems and performance monitoring processes
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly team performance
Ensure targets and client expectations are consistently achieved
Identify underperformance early and implement improvement plans
Drive continuous improvement across the sales team
Coaching & Development
Conduct regular performance reviews and one-to-one coaching sessions
Provide guidance, support, and sales training where required
Help tea
Share best practices and encourage professional development
Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with clients
Act as an escalation point for client concerns or performance issues
Ensure client expectations are managed proactively
Support client retention through excellent communication and service delivery
Work closely with clients to ensure BDM performance aligns with business objectives
Reporting & Communication
Provide detailed reporting and operational updates to company directors
Deliver performance insights and recommendations
Monitor team KPIs and client outcomes
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and client satisfaction
Ensure clear communication between all stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles
Proven experience managing high-performing sales or business development teams
Previous experience managing teams of 40+ agents within the Philippines market
Strong track record of driving sales performance and achieving business growth targets
Extensive experience implementing, tracking, and improving KPI frameworks
Experience conducting performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning
Strong understanding of outbound sales, lead generation, appointment setting, and sales pipeline management
Experience managing remote teams across multiple client accounts
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance client satisfaction with business objectives
Experience handling client relationships and resolving performance-related issues
Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics
Confident producing reports and presenting findings to senior leadership
Ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing tea
Experience using CRM systems and sales management tools
Professional level written and spoken English
Desirable Experience
Experience working within a sales outsourcing, recruitment, BPO, or agency environment
Experience managing Business Development Managers, SDRs, Appointment Setters, or Sales Executives
Experience overseeing multiple client accounts simultaneously
Experience building KPI scorecards, reporting dashboards, and performance frameworks
Familiarity with Go High Level or similar CRM platforms
Experience supporting UK, Australian, or US-based clients
Previous responsibility for client retention and account growth

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Previous experience managing teams of 40+ sales agents or business development representatives
Proven experience in sales leadership, sales management, or operations management
Strong experience implementing and managing KPI-driven teams
Experience conducting performance reviews and coaching tea
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to work full-time during UK business hours
