Part-Time SketchUp + LayOut Drafter — Residential Construction Documents (North American Standards)

ABOUT US

Small residential design firm in Edmonton, Canada. We design renovations
and full-home interiors. Our drawings go to real contractors building
real homes — permit-ready, detailed, held to a higher standard than
typical production drafting.

THE ROLE

Help design some really cool houses, restaurants and businesses in Canada!
We do 3d modelling in sketchup, show the clients lots of options with Enscape and AI, turn them into 2d construction plans with elevations, and make lists of all the materials going into it. We are a very small firm but we have lots of demand so are prepared to pay way above average for the right person that makes our lives easier!

REQUIRED

- 3+ years SketchUp Pro experience, focused on drawing production
(not just conceptual modeling)
- LayOut proficiency
- Experience with North American residential CDs (Canadian or US —
not AU/Asian conventions)
- Strong written English
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Own SketchUp Pro license, or willingness to subscribe (reimbursable)

NICE TO HAVE

- V-Ray, Enscape, or other rendering software
- Experience with North American clients
- AutoCAD or other software as a backup skill
