Technical SEO Specialist (Freelance / Ad-Hoc Support)

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical SEO Specialist to provide ad-hoc support for a single e-commerce website.

This is a freelance, as-needed role rather than a full-time position. We are seeking someone with strong technical SEO expertise and advanced knowledge of SEMrush who can help identify, diagnose, and resolve technical SEO issues as they arise.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting technical SEO audits using SEMrush
• Monitoring website health and identifying critical issues
• Investigating crawlability, indexing, and site architecture concerns
• Reviewing redirects, broken links, canonicals, and sitemap issues
• Analysing Core Web Vitals and website performance
• Investigating ranking and traffic fluctuations
• Providing clear, actionable recommendations and prioritised solutions
• Collaborating with developers when technical fixes are required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Technical SEO
• Advanced proficiency with SEMrush and SEO auditing
• Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Familiarity with Shopify websites
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions
