About Us

We're a premiu ---------- n's grooming brand (beard care) based in Australia, selling direct-to-consumer. We're not a cheap, hype-y dropship brand — we're masculine, clean, premium, and results-driven. Our content has to feel that way too.

We're building a consistent short-form content pipeline (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and need a reliable editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, on-brand videos — week in, week out.

What You'll Be Doing
- Editing short-form videos (15–60s) for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts from raw talking-head and product footage
- Matching an annotated master reference video — we'll show you exactly the style, pacing, and structure to replicate. This is reference-match editing, not freelancing your own style each time.
- Applying our locked brand kit (colours, fonts, caption style) consistently to every video
- Producing videos on a content calendar — consistent volume, on deadline
- Working through feedback in rounds and refining quickly

Must-Have Skills
- Fluent in Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Proven short-form editing experience (please show short-form work specifically — not weddings, not corporate)
- Retention-led pacing — strong hook in the first 1–2 seconds, no dead air, ---------- ntum held to the end
- Punchy, animated captions and subtitles — readable on mute, on-brand
- Sound design and beat-syncing — cuts that land on the beat, SFX that punctuate
- Hook and B-roll instinct — knows how to open, when to cut to product, how to layer B-roll
- Brand preset discipline — applies our colours and fonts correctly every time, without being reminded
- Reference-match editing — can faithfully replicate a reference video, consistently
- Premium feel — clean, masculine, considered. NOT over-stickered, ---------- -heavy, or hype-y CapCut style.
VERY IMPORTANT:
- Repurposing range — can take our existing B-roll and older footage and build fresh 20–30s shorts from it. We need both speeds: quick, high-volume edits when we need output, AND premium, polished repurposing when the brief calls for it. What we DON'T want is the lazy approach — just slapping a voiceover or talking head over old clips and calling it done. Even fast edits must still hit the hook, pacing, and brand standard.

- Can produce consistent output on a calendar (not just one-off projects)
- Takes feedback in rounds without friction
- Reliable communication — responsive, clear, hits deadlines


IMPORTANT — Brand Rules (please read before applying)
We have a strict halal sound requirement: we only use vocals-only or percussion-only audio — NO instrumental music. You will work from a curated sound library we provide. If you're used to dropping trending instrumental tracks on everything, this role will not suit you. Please confirm in your application that you've read and understand this rule.
