Performance Marketing Manager (m/f/d) – Paid Ads for Recruiting & Lead Generation
About the role
We run digital advertising campaigns with one clear goal: generating qualified job applicants and leads for open positions. We don't sell products. We attract candidates through Meta, Google, and other channels, and all our campaigns run in the German market.
We're looking for someone to take full ownership of this area, from strategy to setup to daily optimization. You get responsibility, budget, and freedom, and we expect you to turn that into results without anyone looking over your shoulder.
Your responsibilities
Plan, build, and optimize performance campaigns across Meta Ads
Your goal: as many qualified applicants and leads as possible at the lowest possible cost. Recruiting and job campaigns, not product sales.
Develop ads, creatives, and copy, test variations (A/B testing), and find out what actually works.
Manage budgets, scale profitable campaigns, and cut what doesn't perform.
Set up clean tracking (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking) and keep an eye on the key metrics such as CPL, CTR, and conversion rate.
Build and optimize funnels and lead flows, including landing pages.
Report your results clearly and derive the next steps yourself.
Your profile
Several years of experience in performance marketing and paid ads with proven results.
Strong command of Meta Ads and Google Ads (required). Additional channels like TikTok or LinkedIn Ads are a plus.
Ideally experience with lead generation, recruiting campaigns, or employer and personnel marketing.
Confident with tracking and analytics (Business Manager, Google Ads, GTM, Analytics).
You work independently, in a structured and data-driven way. You neither need nor want micromanagement.
German language skills are not required. Experience running campaigns in the German market is a plus.
