$650–$850 USD per month, depending on experience, skill level, reliability and the quality of your portfolio.

This is a full-time, long-term remote role.

There will be a 90-day review based on reliability, communication, consistency, quality of work, ability to meet deadlines, and the quality of content produced.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the role and become an important long-term part of the team.

About Us

We run a group of UK-based martial arts, fitness and marketing businesses.

The businesses include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies, a gym brand, and a fitness marketing agency that works with gyms, martial arts schools and fitness businesses.

We are looking for a reliable, creative and highly organised Social Media & Content Executive to help us create, manage and schedule content across multiple brands.

This is not just a basic posting role. We are looking for someone who can help us build strong brands, create engaging short-form content, keep our content organised, and make sure our social media is consistent every week.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for turning raw video, photos, testimonials, class footage, event footage, competition footage and business updates into consistent, high-quality social media content.

You will help create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile, email and WhatsApp.

The right person will be creative, organised, reliable and proactive. You should be able to take raw content and turn it into posts that look professional, feel energetic, and help generate interest, enquiries and leads.

Main Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
Creating captions with strong hooks and clear calls to action
Creating social media posts, stories, carousels and simple graphics
Using Canva or similar tools to create branded content
Scheduling content across multiple social media platforms
Organising content calendars for multiple brands
Creating and scheduling Google Business Profile posts
Turning raw class footage, testimonials, seminars, events and competitions into engaging content
Repurposing longer videos, podcasts, testimonials and announcements into multiple pieces of content
Helping create email, WhatsApp and newsletter content from existing updates
Organising media files in Google Drive
Chasing missing content from the team when needed
Providing weekly reports on what has been posted, what is scheduled, what performed well and what can be improved
Suggesting new content ideas every week
Helping make the brands look professional, consistent and active online
Weekly Output Expectations

As a guide, we would expect approximately:

10–15 edited reels or short-form videos per week
10–20 story posts per week
3–5 carousel or static posts per week
3–5 Google Business Profile posts per week
1 email or newsletter draft per week
1 simple weekly report
A content calendar planned at least 7 days ahead

Quality is more important than just quantity, but consistency is very important.

Required Skills

You must have:

Excellent written English
Experience editing short-form video
Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
Experience using Canva
Good organisation and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to follow brand guidelines
Ability to improve based on feedback
Reliable internet connection
A good computer suitable for video editing
A proactive and professional attitude
Good communication skills

You do not need to know Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu already, but you should be willing to learn about the businesses, understand the culture, and improve the content every week.

The Right Person

The right person for this role is someone who is creative but also organised.

You should be able to take raw footage and turn it into strong content without needing every small detail explained.

You should care about quality, consistency and deadlines.

You should be comfortable working remotely and giving clear updates on your work.

We are looking for someone long-term who wants to become an important part of the team.

Reliability, honesty, consistency and communication are extremely important.

How We Work

We use Google Drive for files, ClickUp or similar tools for task management, and regular communication through Slack, WhatsApp or email.

You will be expected to provide:

A short daily update
A weekly report
A content calendar
Clear communication if you are stuck or need anything
Consistent delivery of agreed weekly output

We do not want to chase constantly. We want someone who takes ownership of the role.

Working Hours

This is a full-time remote role of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

UK working hours are preferred, especially for communication and team check-ins. Some flexibility may be possible for the right person.

We expect consistent availability during agreed working hours, clear communication, and daily updates on work completed.
