Job Overview
We are looking for a part-time SEO assistant to help build a clean SEO foundation for two Shopify-based home improvement brands: STONOVIA, a specialized flexible stone veneer / lightweight stone panel brand, and a fireplace-related brand.
This role is not focused on mass blog writing or generic AI-generated SEO content. We need someone who can help improve existing Shopify pages, organize keyword opportunities, audit old content, optimize product and collection pages, improve existing content, and create structured SEO briefs based on real product information.
Because STONOVIA is a specialized building material, accuracy is very important. All product-related claims, installation details, application recommendations, and technical information must be reviewed internally before publishing.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Review existing Shopify product pages, collection pages, and blog pages
2. Audit old SEO content and recommend whether to keep, rewrite, delete, or merge each page
3. Organize keyword research based on buyer intent, not just search volume
4. Create keyword maps for STONOVIA and the fireplace brand separately
5. Improve meta titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2 structure, internal links, and image alt text
6. Help create SEO briefs for future product, application, installation, FAQ, and comparison pages
7. Support image SEO for product photos, project images, Pinterest, Houzz, and Google Images
8. Write and edit content for collection pages, FAQ pages, comparison pages, and other SEO-focused content when needed
9. Help identify and implement practical SEO improvements directly inside Shopify
10. Submit a simple weekly SEO progress report
Important:
We do not want generic blog posts such as “home decor ideas” or AI-written articles that do not accurately represent our products.
This is not a strategy-only SEO role. We are looking for practical SEO support focused on page quality, product accuracy, content improvement, Shopify implementation, and high-intent traffic.
Candidates should be comfortable both identifying SEO issues and helping execute improvements.
We are not looking for someone who only provides SEO audits, reports, or recommendations without implementation.
Required Skills:
1. Shopify SEO experience

4. Google Search Console and Google Analytics familiarity
5. Strong written English
6. Content writing and content editing experience

8. Able to follow structured workflows and internal review processes

10. Experience improving internal linking and page content

Trial Period:
This will start as a part-time trial position for 1–2 months. The first stage will focus on SEO audit, keyword mapping, page optimization, content improvement, and content cleanup. If the work quality is good, we may extend the cooperation.
Weekly Workflow:
The SEO assistant will mainly coordinate with Rachel. Questions should be submitted in batches instead of scattered daily messages. Product accuracy will be reviewed internally before anything is published.
We prefer candidates who understand practical SEO execution, can work carefully with specialized products, and can produce content and optimizations that can be implemented immediately.
