Responsibilities:
Draft legal documents, correspondence, forms, and case-related materials under attorney supervision
Conduct legal research and gather information relevant to ongoing matters
Organize, maintain, and update physical and electronic case files
Review, summarize, and analyze legal documents, records, and evidence
Assist with case preparation, discovery, and document production
Prepare chronologies, case summaries, and supporting documentation for attorney review
Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and third parties as needed
Monitor case deadlines and maintain attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and case progression
File legal documents through court filing systems and other required platforms
Request, obtain, and organize records, reports, and supporting documentation
Track case status and provide updates to attorneys and internal stakeholders
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
Support attorneys with administrative and operational tasks related to case management
Utilize legal software, case management systems, and productivity tools to manage workload efficiently
Qualifications:
Has at least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support role
Experience supporting one or more legal practice areas such as Personal Injury, Litigation, Family Law, Immigration, Estate Planning, Corporate Law, Employment Law, Real Estate Law, or related specialties is preferred
Experience using legal case management software, document management systems, e-filing platforms, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Strong legal research, document drafting, and case management skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when handling legal documents
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
Ability to work independently while following established legal procedures and attorney instructions
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
Requirements:
Availability to work during U.S. business hours
Availability to start within 2 weeks from job offer
Comfortable working with time trackers
Own work equipment with at least 8 GB RAM and stable internet connection
Has a working camera and noise-cancelling headset
Backup internet and/or power source is preferred
